  • experimental: support for the new Madani mushaf (enable from settings).
  • 5 new qaris - Dr. Ayman Suwaid (courtesy of King Saud University), Sheikh Abdurrashid Sufi, Sheikh Mustafa Isma'eel, sheikh Abdulazeez Zahrani, and Sheikh Husary's Broadcast recitation.
  • use https for the pages, audio, and translations.
  • bugfixes and improvements.

note - Quran 2.9.0 was never released - during the release process, discovered that due to a bug (fixed in 4bd69bf), there was an extra permission added. consequently, 2.9.0-p1 is the first 2.9.x release to be pushed out.
