  • Improved fonts.conf file parsing
  • Added lcd filter settings
  • More user-friendly hint style selection
  • Settings also applied across GNOME, KDE, and XFCE desktop environments.

I vote to merge this commit. It does address improving font management.

This will only affect applications running as root, not applications running as spot
