Hello there!

We are testing a new procedure for submitting evidences on-chain and publishing evidence-related referenda via Subsquare.

So, we ask you to do the following:

  1. Finalise the PR with your evidence based on reviewers’ comments (if any)
  2. Copy/paste your evidence report and submit it on this page.
  3. Copy/paste the (IPFS) link to your evidence as a comment on this PR.

Below is a step-by-step guide for this procedure.

Thanks!

@anaelleltd https://collectives.subsquare.io/ doesn't seem to support parity signer/parity vault which is a shame. In fact the parity signer extension seems unmaintained with no apparent replacement? I don't see the polkadot-js extension being able to link to a parity signer account, only ledger, but ledger you can't import a private seed to. How do others do this or do they not use hard wallets? Maybe the new polkadot ledger app will improve the situation?

Hello gilescope.
AFAIK, the Polkadot Vault (formerly Parity signer) is now maintained by Novasama Tech (the team behind Nova wallet): https://github.com/novasamatech/parity-signer . You can look into the repo and see what they suggest re: support for ecosystem UIs.

Talisman, Nova wallet, Subwallet, and many others (see: https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/wallets-index) have integrated Ledger accounts, without requiring to import seed phrases. So, you could connect to Subsquare using your Ledger account once it is imported into any of the above wallet.

On another note, I have seen that you are not imported into the Fellowship core, so your retention evidence is not due yet.
