Did you see the undocumented test-cert method:

test-cert <uzi> <ura> <agb> <subject_did>"

like:

../issuer test-cert 0987 654 321 did:web:example.com

This method generates a own chain with CA.

Looks great, you just might consider making the ./issuer method call ../issuer and make all paths relative.
