A little bit about me

I'm Nandini, a passionate UI/UX designer and front-end developer. I specialise in creating meaningful interactions and seamless user experiences by utilising the powers of design and development!

🎓 I'm a senior at Northeastern University, Boston (MA) graduating in May 2025

💻 Full Stack Software Engineer

Khoury College of Computer Sciences X Industry Sponsor July 2024 – Present

  • Leveraging modern cloud technologies like AWS and Azure to design a microservice-based internal platform for enterprise notification management aimed to be used by 3000+ users across multiple teams.
  • Spearheading front-end development and UI design on an Agile team architecting a full-stack SaaS product.
  • Collaborating in a consulting team of 6 to plan, design and architect the entire application from scratch.
  • Working with high-level company executives, key stakeholders and product managers.

🎨 UX Designer

Stealth Cybersecurity AI Startup May 2024 – June 2024

  • Partnered with the Lead UX Designer to define the design system and wireframes for the initial launch MVP product.
  • Developed a custom Figma plugin to convert Figma design tokens to JSON, to streamline the front-end pipeline.
  • Applied Material UI and D3.js to create intuitive and seamless dashboard widgets, enhancing the user experience.

🌐 Web Developer

Mabl January 2023 – June

  • Published this blog post about my contributions through the co-op, which involved working with the Head of Design and Brand to optimize the web experience through SEO, new functionality and Japanese language support.
  • Improved the website performance by modularizing ~10,000 lines of stylesheet code and reducing page speed to 2.8 seconds, boosting the mobile performance to 98% (as measured by Google Lighthouse metrics).
  • Created Figma prototypes for the Product team to further develop the mabl App dark mode UI.
