Exercises in D3 visualizations in Rmarkdown documents
Visualizations that do not try to pack in too much information get their point across more effectively. Interactivity helps accomplish that. Also, when the viewers make choices about what they want to see, they become more involved in the visualization.
However, don't let D3 become a time-sink. In the final analysis, it is the empirical research that leads to new knowledge worth communicating.
