I want to build this for: Personal Use, Test Field, and as an Example Work
- For amateurs party hosts and normal people
- who want to prepare cocktails
- MindTheDrink
- is a webapp and web directory
- that allows them to find recipes they can make with what they have, rate them and create their own versions.
- Unlike the Cocktail apps and Web Directories
- our product is more focused in the users variations than in listing millions of recipes.
Stop drinking the same old cheap rum and coke mix. Be creative! Mind your drink!

N/A. Right now is a one-man project, although there are some people that will help.
Rails 4 + Postgres + Solr
- Development speed.
- Visual Design being too "techie" and "bad" as being developed by an engineer with no visual design eye.
- Open source project while developing the codebase.
- Loose focus and drop the project.
- One man -> One vision -> greater risk of making mistakes and loosing it.
- Making stuff much more complicated than it needs to be.
- Planning 2 apps at the same time: cocktails and meal recipes.
- The "what can I do with the ingredients in my cabinet" feature is a risky one.
- Making it to my needs and that eventually noone will use it.
