General Settings
The 'General' settings menu contains several of the more important TabbyChat configurable settings. In particular, these settings apply globally, to each and every server and/or world TabbyChat is used on.
The general settings are saved in a file called 'general.cfg', which can typically be found in .minecraft/config/tabbychat.
When enabled, TabbyChat provides the full functionality described here and throughout the rest of this documentation. However, when disabled, TabbyChat will do it's best to affect as little as possible, restoring nearly all the behavior of vanilla Minecraft. When disabled, the "*" tab will still appear to allow continued access to the TabbyChat settings such that it could be re-enabled.
When enabled, all chat received by the client will be recorded inside .minecraft/TabbyChatLogs. The logs will be created as text files, with one text file per day, named following the scheme TabbyChatLog_mm-dd-yyyy.txt. Each time the user connects to a different server, the line
BEGIN CHAT LOGGING FOR <Server Name>(<Server Ip>) -- MM/DD/YY HH:MM
will be placed in the chat log to note the change.
