+This repository is a fork of the Erigon repository (https://github.com/ledgerwatch/erigon). Our long term plan is to use and support upstream Erigon. We decided, in consultation with the Erigon team, to create a short term fork that we can test for stability and maintain. This is a short-to-medium-term mitigation strategy because Erigon is going through a period of rapid changes that will likely be breaking and not backward compatible.
