This is a demo of Messenger Platform bot that you can use to start up your project or just check how bots work

WOPR (War Operation Plan Response)

Do you recognize this movie? It's War Games from 1983. WOPR is a supercomputer running artificial intelligence program that simulates Global Thermonuclear War. It communicates with humans using text. Thus it's perfect to demonstrate the Messenger Platform capabilities.

Getting started

1. Create facebook page to act as your bot. Direct link
2. Goto Messenger Platform Getting Started Guide. Configure facebook app and generate tokens as instructed there.
3. Create secret.js file based on secret-template.js. Put there your tokens.
4. Deploy to your server, run npm install and run the app.
5. Verify your app (step 2 of Getting Started Guide)
6. Now open the facebook page you've created and send a message to it. The bot should start talking to you.
