This is a backup of shadowsocks written by a hero fighting for freedom.
However, I still believe the ultimate freedom for the Chinese people comes from real political change.
I admire those heros spending a lot of time on circumventing the restrictions imposed by the evil communist party.
But I don't think we should spend most of our time on circumventing the wall rather than enjoying the true convenience of
the internet.
Maybe it is our nation's character.

CentOS:
yum install python-setuptools && easy_install pip
pip install shadowsocks
Windows:
ssserver -p 443 -k password -m aes-256-cfb
To run in the background:
sudo ssserver -p 443 -k password -m aes-256-cfb --user nobody -d start
To stop:
sudo ssserver -d stop
To check the log:
sudo less /var/log/shadowsocks.log
Check all the options via -h
. You can also use a Configuration file
instead.
Use GUI clients on your local PC/phones. Check the README of your client for more information.
