Did you also have a go with https://github.com/huonw/travis-cargo ?

Yes I also tried that, nevertheless current state is that it seems to be publishing it correctly after I enabled the project in coveralls, although I don't see the report generated there: https://coveralls.io/github/maidsafe/safe-authenticator-cli I'll have to debug it locally , maybe I'm not sending the correct files/content to coveralls.
