The pathways file specifies the genes that belong to each pathway in a pathway group. This file should contain the following columns:
-
Pathway
: The name of the pathway. -
Gene Symbol
: The gene ID. -
Core
: Whether this gene is a "core" pathway gene. EitherTRUE
orFALSE
. -
Gene Description
: A description of the gene. -
Location
: The gene's chromosome location.
An example of this file is as follows:
Pathway | Gene Symbol | Core | Gene Description | Location |
---|---|---|---|---|
Base Excision Repair (BER) | ALKBH1 | FALSE | alkB homolog 1, histone H2A dioxygenase | 14q24.3 |
Base Excision Repair (BER) | APEX1 | TRUE | apurinic/apyrimidinic endodeoxyribonuclease 1 | 14q11.2 |
Fanconi Anemia (FA) | APITD1 | FALSE | apoptosis-inducing, TAF9-like domain 1 | 1p36.22 |
Fanconi Anemia (FA) | BARD1 | FALSE | BRCA1 associated RING domain 1 | 2q35 |
Fanconi Anemia (FA) | BLM | FALSE | Bloom syndrome, RecQ helicase-like | 15q26.1 |
