Justin's classes

If Justin is teaching a class, it will usually be possible to sit in on the class even without formally enrolling. There are video recordings available from previous classes that Justin has taught. Ask Justin if you don't already have access to these videos. The courses are:

  • Advanced biostatistics
  • Hierarchical Modeling
  • How to write a paper

Using Pitt's staff benefit to take classes

To search for classes:

  • Open MyPitt and click on PeopleSoft/HighPoint CX
  • Go to Class Information > Class Search
  • Do NOT click "add to cart."

To enroll in the university as a guest student:

  • Apply to CGS 2-4 weeks prior to the first day of classes. You will need your personal information, education history, and transcripts

To enroll in undergrad courses:

  • Enroll in the College of General Studies
  • Note that some undergrad classes still require permission codes (e.g. computer science courses)
    • Some may require instructor permission
    • If you took the pre-requisites for a class at a different institution, there is an enrollment assistance form

To enroll in graduate classes:

  • Get permission from the instructor
    • Some departments require special enrollment (e.g. GSPIA)
  • Email Daniel [email protected] asking to enroll in the course and noting you are in CGS and have permission from the instructor
