I thought it might be helpful to have this documented (thanks to @VoidAny's comment from jellyfin/jellyfin#3061 (comment)), as I wouldn't have figured out the cause for this issue otherwise. I would presume most people running a Jellyfin server on Linux are doing so with systemd, so that's the solution I've included.
