robson_euphemia_helen
Helen Euphemia Spears was the wife of Adam Lyall Robson.
Her will was dated 15th January 1940 and stated her living in the Croft Trebooth in the County Borough of Swansea and a widow.
She left money to many nieces and nephews including John Mathie Darroch, Jennie Lewis, Jeanie Thorburn, Nance Graham, Nellie Spears, Alexander Spears, Robert Spears and Margaret Fife (daughters of her late brother). She also left money to Connie and Eric Howells daughter of her late husband's sister. She also made donates to the Swansea Orphan house for girls, St. Dunstans London, Swansea Brecon Diosean Trust and a recreation hall of St. Albans Church, A Mission to Sesmen(* cannot read) and British Legion.
Possibly per the instructions in Matthew Jackson Lyall's's will she passed 1000 pounds in the "Robson trust fund" for her brother in law John Robson which on his death would pass to his 4 children.
Money was left to the Swansea General and Eye hospital money for a bed to be called the "Adam Lyall Robson" bed.
