Gems

  • bundler - provides a consistent environment for Ruby projects by tracking and installing the exact gems and versions that are needed
  • friction - a tool to get rid of common sources of contributor friction
  • jekyll - a blog-aware, static site generator in Ruby
  • overcommit - fully configurable and extendable Git hook manager
  • pygments.rb - pygments syntax highlighting in ruby
  • showterm - ideal for demoing instructions (as the user can copy-paste), making fail-safe "live-coding" sessions (plain text is very scalable), and sharing all your l33t terminal hacks.
