Seems a reasonable fix. I am not sure why it didn't cause problems on non-mac.

Force pushed a return true to the windows code because it did not compile under windows

Nor am I.
I'm also not sure if the module object initialization semantics have changed, and whether the MODULE_INIT stuff in many contexts is really needed - I believe it was needed to ensure unpredictable initialization order between co-dependent shared object objects, but in this case (for example) - is it definitely guaranteed that jlib objects will initialize before mp? (I think so).
