- Clone the repo to your computer by typing in the terminal
$ git clone https://github.com/guillemontecinos/revolt-of-replicas.git
- Go to the directory where the repo was downloaded
- Go to
/app
by typing$ cd app
- Install npm packages on
/app
by typing$ npm install
- Download the unity built (sent privately)
- Keep the app with the folder it came
- Install Ableton Live 10
- Install Max/Msp 8 or greater
- Download the Ableton session and keep it on its the same folder
- It doesn't matter if the three folders are separated, just keep each app on its folder because there are dependencies inside.
- Open the Ableton session. You'll see three automated sliders moving by them selves. It's ok.
- On your terminal go to
/app
and run the server by typing$ node index.js
- Run the unity app (called
casa-amalia-build.app
) - Check your comuper's IP by clicking on Networks (on the upper right end of the screen) -> Open Network Preferences. Under Connected you'll see the IP address.
- Open your iPhone preferences, go to
Settings
->Display & Brightness
->Auto-Lock
and selectNever
. - Connect your iPhone to the same network of the laptop.
- Open Safari and type the IP address.
- After the experience's main page is loaded, click on the font size icon (as shown below) and click
Hide Toolbar
.
- Go to Ableton and hit play (or the spacebar)
