You can re use the diff between tests for example

git diff origin/master... > diff.txt

phpcs --standard=psr2 src > phpcs.json || true
./vendor/bin/diffFilter --phpcs diff.txt phpcs.json

phpmd src xml cleancode > phpmd.xml  || true 
./vendor/bin/diffFilter --phpmd diff.txt phpmd.xml 90

This check runs both phpcs and phpmd with the same diff. All of the changed code must conform to psr2 but only 90% of the code must be "clean" by phpmd's definition
