0.8 Beta Release Notes

This is the first public beta release of Slacktack! Here's what to expect in this version:

  • The extension now works as detailed in the README, allowing you to:
    • Override chatroom names on Slack.
    • Save custom names directly from the popup interface.
    • Clear all custom overrides with the "Clear All Tacks" button.
  • A sleek, dark Gruvbox-themed popup interface for a clean, developer-friendly user experience.
  • Known Limitation: The extension is not yet available on the Chrome Web Store. To use this version, you'll need to load it as an unpacked extension in Chrome's Developer mode.

Note: Please refer to the README for detailed installation and usage instructions. Your feedback is greatly appreciated to help us refine Slacktack!
