We will develop tools that allow content creators to monitor and optimize their scenes, ensuring they perform smoothly across all platforms, with a particular focus on mobile and low-end devices. This includes:
- LOD (Level of Detail) generation to enhance performance without sacrificing visual quality.
- Heightmap generation and satellite view tools for the protocolized generation of the minimap, this can be used by grants like “Genesis City” for generating easily images of the World, and allow the Content Creators to create minimaps of their own Worlds, or Realms (like Exodus Town).
- Detailed performance analysis tools to help optimize scenes, particularly on mobile and lower-powered devices.
- Develop a service which implements optimizations, like an Asset Processing Pipeline, for reducing asset load times and resource consumption, enhancing overall performance across all platforms.
