Bug Fixes

• Why is operator Napa Valley Transportation Authority appearing in RTPA Alpine County Transportation Commission? Review ntd_id-to-rtpa crosswalk list
• Why are the individual output excel file not filtering by the individual agency? check the loop and excel write portion of thesave_rtpa_outputs function
• Placer County Transportation Planning Agency (PCTA) is asking why City of Roseville and City of Auburn do not appear in the PCTA page. Check the NTD ridership report to see if there are data for these operators. check the ntd_id-to-rtpa crosswalk to see if these operators are under PCTA.

New Features

• New visual displaying the number of total ridership for the RTPA
• Pie chart of % of total ridership per operator
• Updated ReadMe to follow the updated readme template from refactor summer
• Mention that this report only shows monthly reporters.

RE: PCTPA, City of Auburn and Roseville.

• Only City of Roseville appears in the NTD ridership report. Roseville currently listed as a small systems reporter and the last data they have is from 2011. Our ridership site goes to 2018.
• City of Auburn does not appear on the NTD ridership report, so there is nothing to display. Assuming Auburn is rural or annual reporter?
• add City of Roseville and City of Auburn to PCTPA on the crosswalk, just in case their status changes.

Sent findings to team for discussion. will make sure the message gets to PCTPA

File Summary: Contains monthly-updated service information reported by urban Full Reporters

Updated the README page to make the new template README page in the portfolio directory. Adds more sections and Cal-ITP branding at the end

RE: Napa Valley Transportation on Alpine County Local Transportation Commission

• looks like Nappy Valley Transportation Authority has always been under Alpine County since the early versions of this report.
• Napa Valley Transportation (uza Napa, CA. in Napa county) should belong to MTC (see here)
• according to mart_ntd.dim_annual_agency_information, Alpine County Local Transportation Commission is a Rural Reporter. and looks like Alpine is their own, sole operator.
• Alpine County does not appear in the monthly ntd data (probably because they are a rural reporter)

proposal to update the following

• Move agency: Napa Valley Transportation Authority to rtpa: MTC

• Add agency: Alpine County Local Transportation Commission to rtpa: Alpine County Local Transportation Commission

RE: Why are the individual output excel file not filtering by the individual agency?

Checked the save_rtpa_outputs function.

• moved the cover_sheet lines to the top of the loop, so the first page of the excel that is created is the cover sheet.
• in the aggregation sections (df using sum_by_group), filtered the df's via (df[df["RTPA"] == i])
• in the excel writer portion, added the "RTPA Ridership Data" tab
• added a couple of print lines to show progress.

Double checked the output excel files and confirm that the aggregation tabs only show data related to the RTPA. Draft code was saved in a notebook, will move to monthly_ridership_by_rtpa script.
