# Viewing the Ammunition Audit List

The ability to audit the cost of ammunition was added in version 4. This allows you to keep track of how much you paid for that ammunition on the purchase dates. Some people tend to mark the ammunition boxes with the date it was bought, in order to cycle out old ammunition and some will mark it as the date it was bought and would sell that ammunition. The audit will allow people to know how much they paid for that ammunition based on the date. Others will use it to see the fluctuation of ammunition prices over the years.

To Access the Ammunition Audit List, you will need to be viewing the ammunition inventory list. Select the ammunition that you are interested and click on the following icon on the tool bar ![](images/ammoaudit_32_x_32.gif) to bring up the following information.

![](images/View_Ammunition_Audit1.jpg)

Currently there is not much to this list. It's mostly for viewing information.

# Viewing Listed Shops

The Shops are added to the database when you put in the place that you got the firearm in the Purchased From field in the Add/Edit Firearm form, this information is mostly kept for the Bound Book report. But if this a regular gun store that you purchase from, we decided to also allow you to enter in detail information about the store, so you can quickly look them up if you had to.

![](images/Viewing_Items_Shops_Menu.jpg)

To view the List of Shops that you have purchased firearms from, click on View in the menu bar and then click on Listed Shops. Then the following window will appear.

![](images/Viewing_Items_Shops_List.jpg)

# Adding a Shop to the List

By Default, when you are adding or editing a firearm in your collection and you put a shop in the "Purchased From" field, it will automatically add the Shop to the database. This section will show you how to add a shop to the database without having to enter in a firearm.

![](images/Viewing_Items_Shops_List_Adding.jpg)

When you are viewing the list of shops, you can easily add another shop to the list by clicking on the paper with an A( ![](images/Winxpicons_System_34_32x32.gif) ) icon on the tool bar. By Adding another shop in advance it will come up in the list of shops when you are adding or editing a firearm. You can also add another shop to the list just to keep track of the contact information for that store.

Once you click on the "Add Icon" ( ![](images/Winxpicons_System_34_32x32.gif) ), the following input box will appear:

![](images/Viewing_Items_Shops_List_Adding_Shopname.jpg)

Type in the name of the shop that you wish to add and click on the Ok button to add it to the database.

![](images/Viewing_Items_Shops_List_Adding_NewShopNameAdded.jpg)

Now you can see it in the List of Shops. To Add additional information to the shop, just double click on the shop name to bring up the "View Shop Details" window. From there you can click on the Edit button to add the information.

[Click here](Editing_Shop_Details.md) to learn how to edit or add to the Shop Details.

Since some people are not completely concerned about the details of the shops still later, we designed it this way to allow you to enter in the names of the shops that you are interested in first, then on your free time you can add to that information as needed.
