same here, new ubuntu 16.06 install

  • update - dos2unix on the file helps

I have the same issue on linux mint 18.02
was this ever resolved?

I think so, it's just not accepted #6

Got the same problem in Ubuntu 18.

EDIT : to fix the issue, run
sudo dos2unix /usr/local/lib/node_modules/subdownloader/cli.js
