Notes for Arbor hackathon project 11.09.2018–14.09.2018

Ristotto: what you make with Arbor I/O.

Goal

By the end of the week:

  • Have an arbor application producing data for consumption by a separate process via conduit, nesci, contra.
  • The simulator side will model a ring network comprising ball-and-stick neurons.
  • Published data will comprise one or more of: CV currents across all cells; point-sampled membrane voltage potentials; generated spikes.
  • The consumer will at minimum print as text the incoming data in real-time.
  • The producer and consumer applications will run on the same machine.

We'll revise or extend the goals as we go!

GitHub repo

We'll do standard GitHub fork and PR model, but development will be on the risotto branch rather than master.
