To install the extension, enable "Developer Mode" in the extensions page in Chromium and drag and drop animebook_anki_export.crx onto the page.

Note: this won't work for Google Chrome specifically until the extension is on the Chrome Web Store, which I'm currently working on. Other Chromium browsers work though, so I'd recommend trying out an all-codecs+ build of Chromium instead until then. It'll also play more video formats than Chrome. Installation instructions for that are in the README.
