In project perspective it should be key - value storage to replace old solutions like Memcached or Redis. Why we need own datastorage? Coz the old-fashion solutions is designed for common usage few years ago and at that moment there was absoluttelly different technologies, tools and goals than exists now. So it's not appropriate to use old-school tools at this time. We need something more productive.
