Universal Clock 0.5 (alpha)

New in this release:

• Keyboard support.
• Existing clocks can now be re-ordered.
• Selections in the timezone dialog are now remembered between invocations.
• Various rendering improvements, especially to the panel border-drawing logic.
• Refactoring and reorganization of source code.

Installation Instructions:

1. Unzip uniclock_05.zip into a directory of your choice.
2. Create a program object for uclock.exe. (The working directory must be the same as the program directory.)

Notes:

• As before, the INI file format for saved clocks has changed slightly. However, the program should now be able to migrate the saved configuration automatically, at least in most cases.
• Sunrise and sunset are calculated according to latitude/longitude only; altitude is not factored in. This means actual sunrise/sunset times may be off by a few minutes, especially at higher altitudes.

Universal Clock 0.4 (alpha)

This is the long-overdue second public release build. New features in this release:

• Selectable timezone (city) database
• Day/night indicator and local sunrise/sunset times based on configurable geographic coordinates.
• Help file.

Limitations:

• The INI file format for saved clocks has changed slightly. If you used an older version, your existing clock panels will be reset to local time (you will be warned before this happens). Font and colour settings should not be affected.
• The main window doesn't yet support keyboard navigation.
• Sunrise and sunset are calculated according to latitude/longitude only; altitude is not factored in. This means actual sunrise/sunset times may be off by a few minutes, especially at higher altitudes.

Universal Clock version 0.3 (alpha)

First public pre-release. Basic functionality is present, although some options are non-functional. No help file is included.
