Got the Godot 4 code working. Thought you might want a branch for it.

The Good :

  • I think all the functionality is there -- Looks like it did in Godot 3.x.

The Bad :

  • Had to drop some of the static typing.

Everything is working by dedd1cd and the rest is just cleanup (which includes a bloated commit at e023851 )

I'm revising this to do it in a single commit and without the accidental bloat.
