Yizhe Zhang is a PhD researcher at the Augment research group in the Department of Computer Science at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). He holds a Master of Science degree in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), where he also worked as a senior research assistant. At HKBU, he contributed to several Human-Computer Interaction projects and played a key role in developing various systems and applications. Before joining KU Leuven, Yizhe accumulated substantial industry experience, serving as a technical director and chief programmer. In these roles, he led teams focused on research and development, particularly in enhancing user interaction and optimizing system performance. During his PhD, Yizhe aims to explore innovative approaches to Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on improving the seamless integration between humans and technology.
Research Interests: Explainable AI, Conversational AI, Human Computer Interaction, Recommender Systems.
