Marking video as watched from the 'What's New' view does not update until refreshing

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Go to What's New
2. Long press video
3. Select 'Mark as watched' from menu
4. Observe video not reflecting being watched

Expected behavior

Expect video to be shown as watched without having to refresh

Actual behavior

Need to either refresh feed or go to another view then back to What's New view to see update.

Hi, just confirming this a duplicate because the underlying cause is the same? Because the problem described is different. This issue is about the videos not displaying as viewed, not about being removed from the list. Thanks,
