The STAREmaster command line utility creates sidecar files with STARE indexes for NASA MODIS data. We are pleased to announce the release of version 1.0.0 of STAREmaster.

Supported Datasets

Currently STAREmaster can create sidecar files for the following data sets:
MOD05 - Total Precipitable Water Vapor 5-Min L2 Swath 1km and 5km
MOD09 - Atmospherically Corrected Surface Reflectance 5-Min L2 Swath 250m, 500m, 1km
