Files `i3-gnome-flashback-session` and `i3-gnome-flashback.session` have been taken from commit `eb96688` ; `25_i3-gnome-flashback.gschema.override` have been adapted to prevent use of `nautilus-desktop`. In this version of Gnome, desktop background seems to be handled by `nautilus-desktop` and doesn't seems possible to let gnome handle the background (but it remains possible to use `xsetroot`).

i3-gnome-flashbackto gnome3.36.Due to an older version of Ubuntu, I needed to use
i3-gnome-flashbackwith gnome3.28.For that, I mixed your last version with the commit eb96688 to backport the improvements you added since this commit.
As I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one to use an older version of gnome, publishing my backport could make sense, and I prefer contributing to your repository instead of creating a new long-living fork.
