How to Upload Pictures into your Wiki Images Directory 📷

Assumptions

You've completed this optional step.

Before you upload we have some Pro Tips!

  • Make sure any picture(s) you want to upload are stored locally on your computer
  • Ensure your pictures are properly named before uploading
  • GitHub can display several common image formats, including PNG, JPG, GIF, PSD, and SVG.

Let's get started!

  1. Navigate to your Project repo
  2. Click on the Wiki Documentation --> Images folder
  3. Click on the Upload files button
  4. Click on the "choose your files" link
  5. Navigate to the picture you'd like to upload and select it
    Note: You can upload more than 1 picture at a time
  6. Click the Open button (after doing this you will be taken back to the Upload files page)
  7. In the Commit Changes section add a Commit Title and (optional) Description

For example:
Title: EDA ERD
Description: EDA ERD - Release 1.80

  1. Make sure the "Commit directly to the master branch." radio button is selected
  2. Click on the Commit Changes button
