You can test this yourself directly in the mod.
All you need is a program capable of modifying jar files (e.g. 7zip) and then you can simply place your file in the assets/replaymod/lang/ folder inside of the ReplayMod jar file, replacing the existing file.
After a restart of the game, it should then be applied ingame.
