Feature Request: 5 second delay in selecting file

Can you add a feature to have a delay of about 5 seconds before selecting the file in OctoPrint?

My use case for this is because I also use the Tasmota plugin to power on my printer when a new job is sent over and auto-connect to the printer. The file will fail to be selected automatically when the printer isn't on and connected in OP prior. The 5-second delay in auto-selecting the file would remedy that issue. This could be a checkbox configuration item for the plugin or just be added as the standard behavior.
