Description of changes
  • surface: linux 6.6.8 -> 6.6.10
  • surface: set default kernel to major version 6.6
  • surface: remove linux 6.1

This PR changes the default kernel for surface-go from 6.1 to the default 6.6, and removes linux 6.1 to reduce maintenance overhead.

It should also be tested on surface-go devices before being merged.

Things done
  • Tested on Surface Laptop 4 AMD

  • Tested on Surface Go

  • Tested the changes in your own NixOS Configuration

  • Tested the changes end-to-end by using your fork of nixos-hardware and
    importing it via <nixos-hardware> or Flake input
