About the logo usage...

First thing first, I know full well that there are no guidelines for logo usage, so it's hard to know what's acceptable to do or not with the logo.

One of the main thing I would add to said guidelines, were I to write them, would be to never "break apart" the lambdas, or branches, of the Nix snowflake. That makes the "danger triangles shape" a definitive no-no. Though, personally, I find the concept intriguing.

Another part of the guidelines would be about colours... Except I'm not even sure what should or shouldn't be forbidden. I guess the main rule would be for official uses, only the actual colours should be used, on light backgrounds, and the white version, on dark backgrounds. But wallpapers here are not for official use... So I guess it wouldn't be an issue.

With the branding stuff out of the way, here are some more actionable points:

About the designs:

• Drop the "broken off" versions from the PR
  • (suggestion) Add a "monochrome" version of danger, orange-on-deep-blue six-branched version, I like the colour choices
• ice with pattern: the background pattern flakes have broken gradients, each branch has a weird top-down gradient.
  • (suggestion) Stagger the rows halfway in the pattern, since they're hexagonal shapes it probably will look even better
• ice without pattern: I find the shadow behind the center logo from the other ice background really gives it character, might be good to have it here too. (In addition, it would be nice if both had the logo positioned at the exact same location)

Other details:

• Declare your contribution and license in CONTRIBUTORS.md, following the pattern.
  We would really prefer a free license, all existing "all rights reserved" entries comes from contributors who contributed before we took care of the problem.
• Not a requirement, but share the source files maybe?

Sharing the source files could help other users. I'm thinking e.g. allow them to properly generate ultrawide (21:9) variants, or export a 4K, or 5K version for themselves.

Gotchya, sure thing. Just one question :) What do you mean with the monochrome version? I tested the colors for most color blindnesses. Do you mean just remove the saturation? So make it Black and white? I can put all that in.

I thought of the staggered look as well, now I have the courage to do it. so lemme update PR with that first and add my stuff then the monochrome thing and the source files. Should I also reattach the logo? for me the logo had like weirdly 4 groups with one branch beeing in there 3 times? it was no problem tho.
