Responsible conduct in research includes consideration for the proper collection, storage, sharing, and preservation of research data. These are all core principles of good research data management. This short course looks at the risks of poor data management, best practices for reducing those risks, key resources at NYU and outside of the university for caring for research data, and the requirements for grant funders who are looking to ensure good data handling on the part of researchers.
