Any updates on this? I need PEP 517 compatible builds for a tool I work with, and |

Sorry about the delay, I have been completely consumed by another project. I will see if I can get this in & released in the next few days. It just needs a bit of testing because it completely changes the packaging situation, so I want to be sure nothing breaks. |

I tested the packaging and it all seems to work |

New version is on PyPI and on the website. Will be on conda-forge later today! |
