This plugin does exactly what I needed for a project I'm working on. Nothing more, nothing less. Thank you so much for that :)
It has not been updated for a while and I found a bug on the widgets admin page when the plugin is activated. I fixed it and made some changes to make it compatible with composer.
If you are still interested in maintaining this plugin feel free to merge this PR. You will just need to run
composer installbefore pushing to the Wordpress SVN repository.Cheers
