The ScotlandJS code of conduct applies to our workshop and the social event. Please ensure you are familiar with it.
- Install Expo XDE and sign up for the account.
- Install Expo Client - this is an app for your phone.
- Install Create React Native App.
- Code editor & setup - VS Code with React Native Tools.
- If on Mac, install Xcode to get the iOS emulator.
- If on other system, install Android Studio. Make sure you are able to run an app simulator.
- Sit and relax :-)
We are going to use Slack channel for posting links, etc. Ask for the invite link if you have not joined yet.

We want you to:
- explore with an open mind what React Native can offer to you,
- and hopefully after the end of the workshop you will consider it worth investing your own time to learn more of React Native.
