Code of Conduct

The ScotlandJS code of conduct applies to our workshop and the social event. Please ensure you are familiar with it.

Pre-requisites

1. Install Expo XDE and sign up for the account.
2. Install Expo Client - this is an app for your phone.
3. Install Create React Native App.
4. Code editor & setup - VS Code with React Native Tools.
5. If on Mac, install Xcode to get the iOS emulator.
6. If on other system, install Android Studio. Make sure you are able to run an app simulator.
7. Sit and relax :-)

We are going to use Slack channel for posting links, etc. Ask for the invite link if you have not joined yet.

What we want you to take after this workshop

This is a piece of advice that quite resonates with me. It is by Cory House.

We want you to:

• explore with an open mind what React Native can offer to you,
• and hopefully after the end of the workshop you will consider it worth investing your own time to learn more of React Native.
