log command sometimes fails to identify github page

On some melpa packages with a known GitHub repository, the log display command (f u l) sometimes says:

Package nil is not a GitHub repo

For example, see the minibuffer message in the screenshot below. Paradox can't find the GitHub repo for org-roam, even though, when I hit return with the cursor over an org-roam line, the displayed "Homepage" is actually the correct GitHub repository URL.

I assume this is the same as #167 and it's hitting GitHub rate limits
