Next to IPv6 suport socket handling is reworked to better operate in
presence of multiple servers (IPv4 or IPv6) where either some
destination networks are unreachable or otherwise fail on sendmsg
(e.g. due to local firewall rules).
It makes use of two sockets (one for IPv4 communication, one for IPv6
communication) that are created as needed (e.g. no IPv6 socket created
if there is no IPv6 server address).
When adding servers by host names, multiple entries are added, one for
each IP address found for the hostname (be it IPv4 or IPv6).
NOTE: Windows compatibility is unknown.
