BTW... Just FYI:

astroplan is a rubin-sim dependency. so environments that have it will grab astroplan too. The last several cvmfs -ext weeklies include it.

Thank Chris - #tips-n-tricks is where I saw this :)
This repo for desc-python doesn't have LSST Sci Pipelines or rubin-sim while desc-stack does. So we'll need it here if it's of interest to DESC outside of rubin-sim - but perhaps something to think about first.
