You can install ts-node using the following command:
npm i -g ts-node
In-order to run the server locally, you will have to create a file .env
in server
subfolder.
After creating the file, add the following fields with your MySQL username and password as well as hostname and port:
SERVER_HOST='localhost'
SERVER_PORT='3001'
MYSQL_HOST='localhost'
MYSQL_PORT='3306'
MYSQL_USERNAME=''
MYSQL_PASSWORD=''
MYSQL_DB='bts'
API_KEY = 'eShVmYq3t6w9yB&E)H@McQfTjWnZr4u7x!A%C*F-JaNdRgUkXp2s5v8y/B?E(G+'
If the server and/or MySQL are being hosted remotely, fill out HOST and PORT fields appropriately
cd server
npm install
npm run dev

cd client
npm install
npm run dev
