SMWMTL 2.20 Release Candidate 4

Release date : April 24, 2022

This Pre-Release 2.20 Release Candidate 4 (and the last Release Candidate for version 2.20) (in x64 for Stable Release) coming with the changes that will be described in 2.20 full release.

Note

This version is a PRE-RELEASE version of SMWMTL 2.20. Use it with a lot of precautions. Some features may be subject to change or remove in a near or far future.

Important

Since this release of SMWMTL changes a lot of fundamental things, the previously announced dropping support for all Windows NT 5.x-based and all 32-bit OSes in #2, here is the new system requirements if you want to use SMWMTL 2.2x and above :

For people that wants to keep these now-unsupported platforms and still wants to use SMWMTL, the older version 2.10-LTS is still an option as it will still be updated for a while (until v2.40 release).

Warning

Due to a complete rewrite of the settings part of SMWMTL, Settings files from 2.1x Releases are not compatible with 2.2x releases.

• General :
  • Fixed bug at application startup which send an error when SMWMTL tries to delete update package executable while the update process is still running.
• Main window :
  • Modified LM slot buttons to hide parentheses if slot name is blank.
  • Modified Shortcuts buttons to hide extra characters if Lunar Magic slot is blank.
  • Modified update notification banner to avoid text shifting 1 pixel on top when it is too long for the planned width.

    • Modified Lunar Magic "1 Click to Launch" version selector to diaplay a default name if slot name is blank.

  • Fixed a bug that prevent exporting a TXT file if the file originally doesn't exist on the destination path.
• Update detected notification pop-up :
  • Changelog now displays same as on "Software updates" window.
