For this milestone we’re going to target the main SaaS eCommerce platforms: Squarespace online stores, Shopify and WixStores. Due to the closed-source, proprietary nature of the platforms in question, we expect writing and troubleshooting plugins (especially since we’re aiming at the same high level of integration into the platforms’ flows as with FOSS ones) to take much more trial, error and interaction with the external support engineers — which is reflected in our development timelines here.

In addition to the default “code published in Github under a FOSS license” deliverable; we will be aiming at listing Kalatori plugins in the platforms’ official extension stores. Unfortunately, due to their proprietary and centralized nature we cannot guarantee that our submissions will get accepted; in cases of failure we will verbosely document and publish our attempts, enabling the community to pick up where we’ve left.
