This photo was shot in a hill with an altitude of about 200 meters, just on the edge of the area, excellent to discover the stunning Hangzhou development speed.\nThis photo shows two pigeons fighting for food, but happens to look like they were ‘kissing’ in the moment of pressing my shutter button. It was shot in a Buddhist temple in Hangzhou called ‘Fa Xi’, which is famous for its effectiveness in seeking marital destiny.\nJing’an Temple at night: This temple is special because it is located in the center of Shanghai, one of the most busy areas in the world. As one of the oldest temples in China, it has a history of nearly two thousand years. Fifty years ago it was completely destroyed due to the Cultural Revolution and fire. Now, this ‘modern look’ temple is the most important Buddhist site in China.\nThis photo was taken in Nanjing, which served as the capital of China on six occasions. It shows a very detailed part of architecture from Ming Dynasty. The green part is made of ceramic, shaped for rain to drop smoothly. The red part is made of wood, painted with very vivid mineral pigment which can last very long time and show incredible saturation under sunlight. The pattern in shadow is from Buddhist culture, also painted with mineral pigments.\nA cat raised by friendly owners of a little store, she needs to sleep over twelve hours a day. We called the store ‘The Cat’s Store’ because of this beautiful and lazy cat.\nThis is a park that witnesses the friendship between Hangzhou, China and Fukuoka, Japan. Its lotus scenery is very famous. When summer comes, the bright sunshine will make the lotus leaves and lotus flowers show amazing and elegant colors. The vague building behind was once the courtyard of a wealthy merchant.\n(Portuguese) ‘Igreja de São Domingos’ in Macau, has over 400 years’ history, built by spanish and managed by Portuguese. I put this image in the collection for its special yellow color and interesting contrast lighting.\nThese two images were taken in Hong Kong, one of the most multicultural cities. It has some of the best ports in the world. It was occupied by the British in 1842 and was not returned to China until 1997. As such, it safely spans two world wars and the Chinese Civil War. Today, Eastern and Western cultures still collide fiercely here. It has created such a most modern and international city full of contradictions, congestion, huge gap between rich and poor. For photographers, the streets here seem to have a kind of magic, making it easy to create interesting photos.\nA quiet temple located in Hangzhou, just near the Westlake. Very few tourists will come here because there is so many popular viewpoints around. The quaint architecture, rich vegetation, and such a quiet and peaceful atmosphere make it difficult to imagine that it is located in an area with the most tourists.\nThis image was taken by Joe in Norway. One of her favorite photos after post-processing.\nThis image was taken by Joe in Iceland. I adjusted the color and contrast depanding on my imagination to make it fit Iceland in my mind. Joe promised to come Iceland together with me one day.\n",
